Innovation Project Title: Cyclone Science Innovators (CySI)

Cyclone Science Innovators (CySI) was a challenge offered to all undergraduate majors in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and partnered with the ISU Innovation Fellows program. The Innovation Grand Challenges incorporated environment, animals, plants, human, social and community health, and well-being. Each challenge included scientific discovery, problem solving, entrepreneurial partnerships, and community education plans with an emphasis on innovative ideas. The CySI team consisted of a director, innovation partner, and 10-member multi-disciplinary task force. The problems presented were designed to increase technical readiness with collaborative thinking and exposure to industry innovations.
