Innovation Project Title: “Culinary Medicine Workshop”
Nicole Tramp and Erin Bergquist, clinical professor, will organize the “Culinary Medicine Workshop” during the spring semester, integrating nutritional science and chronic disease prevention into the existing Culinary Bootcamp, which is offered in the fall. The Culinary Medicine Workshop will provide leadership experience to the graduate dietetics students who co-create the curriculum, teach the labs and manage the logistics. Undergraduate students who take the workshop will learn how nutrition and dietary patterns affect health outcomes.
