2018 CRISPR Class Project

In spring 2018, the Econ 495 class took on the challenge of creating a video introducing CRISPR technology to a broader audience and shedding light on both the possibilities and concerns for our society. Students spent the first half of the semester researching the technology, then traveled to the San Francisco Bay area to meet with key experts and stakeholders. The second half of the semester was spent designing and producing the above video.

Student Incubator Program

The Student Incubator Program offers students the early resources required for starting and building a business. You'll join a cohort of aspiring student entrepreneurs who will be there to learn with you, support you and brainstorm ideas. By learning Business Model Canvas and Lean Startup methodologies, incubator members are able to rapidly test their business assumptions, before spending time or money on their product or service.

Change-Maker Academy

Each year a select group of students will join a cohort dedicated to cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset. After being selected for the program, students will choose the impact group in which they want to participate. Each impact group will have a professional mentor to meet with throughout the semester and will have the continued support of their peer relationships within the group.
